SCIENCE DAY 2020

We the students of GVMs Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education Farmagudi, Ponda Goa celebrated SCIENCE DAY on February 28 and 29. The preparation for this day began from past one month,various committee were made in order to share the responsibilities.

The theme of the science day was decided as “Science : From Atoms to Universe”.The chief guest for the program was Paresh parab 

The program began with inauguration of Science mela where we had displayed various science demonstrations and models.Two dark rooms were created to show space and marine related videos.

The  formal function began with welcome song and presentation on  Sir .C.V.Raman  was presentedit included why Science day is celebrated and what is the significance of the day. 

Followed by Presentation on sci fun in the form of video.

With the aim to promote interdisciplinary approach students from different subjects like language, history,geography presented how science is related to their respective subjects.

Teachers also participated in the function by attainding the question asked by the Science students.The history students participated in Fashion show topic was aadi manav to today's maanav"

The program also consisted of dance performance which made the audience groove to the music.I was there in decorations committee and invitation committee it was really fun doing the invites.

It was the most memorable day of the year .
